Biography

Myada Baudry is an associate at Gray, Rust, St. Amand, Moffett, & Brieske where she devotes her practice to civil tort litigation. Myada is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and South Carolina. During her practice in South Carolina, Myada represented employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims. Myada also completed a one-year secondment where she served as a Staff Attorney/Claims Litigation Specialist with her client, an insurance carrier located in Charlotte. Myada gained a unique perspective of her client’s internal operations – an invaluable aspect to her current practice. Upon completion of her secondment, Myada moved back home to Georgia where she practiced workers’ compensation defense at an Atlanta law firm.

Myada is an Atlanta native and graduated from Woodward Academy. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and French from Furman University. While at Furman, she was on the Dean’s List and selected as a member of Phi Sigma Iota, Foreign Language Honor Society. She also served as the Vice President of the Pre-law Society and Secretary of the Debate Society. Myada received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and graduated with honors. At UGA, Myada served as the Managing Editor on the Executive Board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law, and her Student Note was selected for publication.

Outside of her legal practice, Myada enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and is an avid international traveler. Myada has an Egyptian background and speaks Arabic and French.
