Cody M. McCollum joined Gray, Rust, St. Amand, Moffett, & Brieske as an associate in 2020, with his practice focused primarily in defense litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Cody was an associate at Gower, Wooten & Darneille, where he focused on premises and automobile defense litigation.
Cody received his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Georgia. Wanting to pursue a career in the legal field, Cody attended the University of Miami School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate. During his time at Miami, Cody clerked for one of the largest maritime defense firms in the Southeast, representing major cruise lines. Cody is admitted to both the State Bar of Georgia and the State Bar of Florida. He is a member of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, United States District Courts for the Northern District of Florida, United States District Courts for the Middle District of Florida, United States District Courts for the Southern District of Florida, United States District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia, United States District Courts for the Middle District of Georgia, and United States District Courts for the Southern District of Georgia.
Away from work, Cody enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting and fishing, irrationally cheering on AC Milan, and playing with his white lab named Ralph.
