John Schultz is a civil litigation defense trial lawyer at Gray, Rust, St. Amand, Moffett & Brieske in Atlanta, Georgia. His primary focus is litigation related to wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and premises liability. John has represented and defended numerous companies in high-risk multi-million dollar litigation and has secured numerous settlements resulting in minimal exposure to the client and insurer. His attention to detail and the law has also resulted in dismissals of numerous high-exposure lawsuits.
John recently settled a multi-car, multi-million dollar catastrophic injury and wrongful death claim pre-suit through calculated investigation and the leverage of key evidence. He also recently secured dismissal of a property owner in a high-risk premises liability shooting case in the metro-Atlanta area. John’s “boots on the ground” approach to the practice of law has resulted in mitigated exposure and resolution to highly contested lawsuits.
John received his Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administration from Samford University. John is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts across Georgia, including the magistrate, state, and superior courts throughout Georgia, the Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. While not practicing law, John enjoys camping, hiking, and fishing with his dog “Murphy.”
