Tony Hassan joined Gray, Rust, St. Amand, Moffett & Brieske as an associate in 2020, with his practice focused on insurance defense and personal injury litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Tony worked in Atlanta, Georgia for a civil litigation firm focused on medical malpractice, wrongful death, negligent supervision, and civil rights litigation.
Tony earned his J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law. While in law school, he served in the Phillip C. Cook Tax Clinic to resolve governmental disputes for individual clients. He also served as a Graduate Assistant for the Georgia State University Litigation Course, providing guidance to law students in all aspects of litigation proceedings. Tony received his undergraduate degree in Communications and Journalism from Georgia State University, where he graduated with honors. He also earned a paralegal certification from Emory University where he earned the top grades in his class.
Tony is originally from Los Angeles, California, but has been a resident of Atlanta since 2002 and is an avid basketball fan. While away from the office, Tony enjoys making films, cooking, philanthropy, and spending time with friends and family.
